The Only Flower

Waking up extra early for a walk is blissful not just for your physical but for your mental health too! The sweet chirping of the birds, the cool breeze blowing your hair and the different hues in sky right before the sun rises is a view to cherish amidst minimum vehicular noise.

And as you walk by other people who are jogging, running, stretching or out with their dog for a round, senior citizens going to the temple, kids all set to catch their school bus makes you realise how we tend to move from one goal to another in life. It gives us a purpose for which we are willing to struggle and sacrifice. We make an effort to accomplish that goal. And once, we have that goal we start looking for another. And if we are unable to achieve that goal we forget about it like we never even thought about it. This applies to people in our life.

In the beginning, we make an effort to know that person, their likes & dislikes, troubles & traumas and compliment & comfort them as well. We are willing to go above and beyond to please them to have them in our life and once they are in our life we stop making the effort we made in the beginning simply because we are not interested in them no more, we realise we are different, we think we know them enough or perhaps we want to know someone else now that we know who we wanted to know because.....

A flower will be the only flower in the garden until another is found.
